Temporary Trades & Temporary Gas Testers/Stand By Workers

We are accepting applications for our maintenance shutdown scheduled from September 03 – 13, 2013

You must be available for training and/or indoctrination week of August 26th, 2013 (exact dates/times yet to be determined).  

GTSW’s require a minimum of grade 12 – documentation is required.  Preference will be given to those applicants with first aid training, industrial experience, and the ability to wear a Scott Air Pac. Successful applicants will be responsible for the safety of other workers; therefore, applicants must demonstrate competency in gas testing/stand by worker duties.

Temporary Trades must provide proof of certification.

Working various shifts and weekends, temporary workers must be able to work in an industrial environment, which can include small spaces, heights, heat, dust etc. The required PPE will be supplied; however, you must provide CSA approved safety-toed boots and if you wear prescription eyewear they must be fitted with appropriate side-shields, or we will provide you with over glasses.
